Here are the basic composition rules, remember this doubles tournament is supposed to be fun even though it is a Hall of Heroes event we hope everyone is playing to have fun first!!

Rules: 40K Composition: 1000pts per player. Each team must have a minimum of 1 HQ and 2 Troop choices between both players. Each player must select 0-1 HQ, 0-2 Elites, 2-4 Troop, 0-2 Fast Attack and 0-2 Heavy Support choices each but the combined units of both team members must not surpass the standard Force Organizational Chart (2 HQ, 3 Elites, 6 Troop, 3 Fast Attack and 3 Heavy Support).

Fantasy Composition: 1000pts per player. Each team must have a minimum of 3 Core units and no more than 4 Special and 2 Rare units. Each player must select 0-2 Heroes and 1+ Core units. One player per team can upgrade one of his Heroes to a Lord.

Shouldn't it be a minimum of 1 Character per player instead of " 0 - 2 " ? Cause that 0-2 can mean one player has no characters whatsoever - no general at all?

So a Maximum of 2 Characters per player and each player must have a General - would be clearer requirements, if that is what you guys intended anyhow.

A question on the size of the fantasy armies. On the main GW website it indicates that this is a 2250 point tourny but the current rules permit only 1000 points per player. Is there an error on the GW website or am I missing something somewhere??

Silver: Another error on my part. The per-player pointage should be 1125pts per player for Fantasy armies.

Stonecutter: Another error on my part. The per-player pointage should be 1125pts per player for Fantasy armies.

This will be corrected on the website shortly.

Hello,

Just a quick question about Team composition for the 40K team tourney.

The first post in this thread reads...

"Each team must have a minimum of 1 HQ and 2 Troop choices between both players. Each player must select 0-1 HQ, 0-2 Elites, 2-4 Troop, 0-2 Fast Attack and 0-2 Heavy Support choices each"

Which version is correct? minimum 1 HQ and two troops between both players, or each player must select 0-1 hq and 2-4 troops. One version is minimum 2 troops per team the other is 4....?

Thank you,

The 1 HQ, 2 Troops applies to the Team as a whole while the 0-1 HQ and 2-4 Troops applied per player.

thanks,
Angela
